Just back from a high altitude trek in the Indian Himalaya and used the Storm King for 2 weeks for the first time. Must mention that the Storm King is a great buy. During the two weeks we were hit initially by rain, then hail and finally tons of snow at 5000m. On some days we had very strong winds as well. The Storm King held up very well and kept us dry and warm. Apart from 3 of us sleeping in the tent the Storm King also easily accomodated the full team of 8 to hang out togeather every afternoon/ evening. The internal height at 64 inches does creare a fair amount of space and you do feel comfortable even if you are a large group. Would strongly recommend the Storm King for those looking for a large expedition tent.

Product Description:
The largest expedition tent in the Mountain Safety Research collection, the Storm King sleeps five and is strong enough to handle it all, from wet Cascade snow dumps to multi-day Alaskan horror shows. The Storm King is made of 40D x 238T ripstop nylon 6 fabric, with a 1,500mm polyurethane and silicone coating that helps keep cold and wet weather at bay. The burly reinforced frame, meanwhile, includes frame restrictors and an equalized tension structure, creating superior strength and stability despite the large size. As a result, you'll have the confidence and sanity to get some sleep inside despite the rage outside. Best of all for large groups, the tent features loads of interior space, with a giant front vestibule and a small rear vestibule contributing to the floor plan. Other features include an easy-to-set-up design with five equal-length poles and continuous pole sleeves, along with two large doors that provide excellent cross ventilation.

The Storm King's floor plan sleeps five comfortably.Specifications:
