(More customer reviews)I've bought two of this model. They work real well for cold weather camping. Most of my cold weather camping is with the boy scouts in igloos and snow caves. I've sleep on multiple occasions where it has been 10-20 degrees outside, probably 30 degrees where I'm sleeping and I've been cozy. The only compliant I have is the zipper catches on the inside baffle. My other summer Slumberjack sleeping bag has a larger zipper and doesn't catch. My summer bag is now 25 years old and still looks and works great. I'm hoping this model lasts just as long.

(More customer reviews)It has been many years since I stopped backpaking. I wanted a sleeping bag that would keep me warm and was tough as nails. This bag is not for woosey tofu eating backpakers, (like I used to be). The outside shell is tough waterproof heavy canvas, and the bag would keep you sleeping like a baby on the Polar Ice Cap. This is the most serious sleeping bag I have ever seen in my life. Warm and tough and soft and comfy. I bought a canvas tent with this and it would withstand a storm on an alien planet. If the end of the world comes this bag is what you want. It is extra long also. Forgot to mention that.

(More customer reviews)We bought this tent and have enjoyed numerous camping experience in varied weather without one problem!It is roomy, weather-proof and oh, so cozy!We blow up our Eddie Bauer self-inflating air mattresses and have tons of room for our gear when we go as a family, and even with bunches of scouts at camp!Being able to stargaze at night through the skylight is awesome!!We absolutely LOVE this tent and recommend it highly!

Coleman Sabine Large Cold-Weather Scoop Sleeping Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I've always been bothered by my head being outside of the sleeping bag on whatever surface is above it - pillow, air mat, tent floor, etc. For that reason I thought these "Scoop" bags by Coleman would perfectly solve the problem. I first tried the Calgary version, which was WAY too short for me. See my review on that product. The Sabine came out and was bigger, and seemed like it would do the job, so I tried it. It's definitely better, but still not great.

The issue is that to get the "scoop" at the top of the bag Coleman essentially just cut part of the top of the bag off, so the top of the bag is actually shorter than you would find on a comparable rectangle bag. As a result, for those of us who are taller, the bag isn't quite long enough. I'm almost 6', and it comes about up to my chin while laying on my back. If I sleep on my stomach with my toes out, it's actually a little short--just to my shoulders. On top of that there isn't a way to pull the opening tight (no drawstring) so a lot of cold air gets in.

A few other points:
* the material is very comfortable. If you are shorter it would probably be great.
* the workmanship seems good
* Unlike Coleman's rectangular bags, this bag doesn't have an integrated cover. You have to be careful where you set it or it will get dirty.
* the weight and size seem good in comparison to its warmth.

Lastly, I just bought my wife the Coleman Castle Peak sleeping bag, which is essentially the same except it has the regular square top and it has an integrated cover. It's also cheaper. I'd really recommend that instead.

(More customer reviews)Just purchased this tent for our family of 4.Used it for the first time this week.Great packaging, easy to set up (works better with 2 people), the interior space was perfect for us!We had great weather this week, so we were not able to test out in rain or high winds.Nightly temps were in the mid 30's, lots of morning frost and condensation, but tent was very dry.We also purchased the ground cover for this tent...highly recommended.Very easy to take down (about 10mins for 2 people) and the parts actually fit back into the packaging on the first try!Love it.....

I can move and stretch in a warm and cozy environment. The coldest I have slept in so far has been in the mid-teens. I slept very well. It is light and great for backpacking. The price was half of similar bags I viewed and it also had free shipping. A true hidden diamond.

(More customer reviews)I got one of this tents two years ago (by the way is black/olive like the one in the picture). In general terms I can say that is a very good tent but only for "not rainy days". As everything in this world it has some pros and cons.

Pros:
1) Its size, huge and comfortable inside for up to five adults in sleeping bags. If you want to use an air matress space is reduced(two full bed matresses don't fit inside).
2) Good quality materials. Fabrics are waterproof.
3)Easy to set up. In fact only one persona can assemble it. Two people make it easier and faster.
4) Privacy. I mean it has privacy windows.
5) Separate storage bags for poles and stakes and one general bag for all.
6) It has some (small) pocket(?) storages in one wall, and it comes with a small net to hang it from the ceiling to put stuff.
7) Good ventilation and no condensation inside, no matter I use a coleman propane heater.

Cons:
1) Not enough vertical space at center. My heigh is 5.90 ft and it is not very comfortable inside, particularly if we consider the net in the ceiling I mentioned.
2) Rainfly does not covers very well all the windows but under rain never leaked from there.
3) Yes, it is water resistant but seams are not waterproof. Under a heavy rain or a long lasting ligh rain it will leak from the seams and probably (just happened once) from the floor. My suggestion is to add some sealer in the seams in the tent and in the rainfly every time you go out, just to be sure you will be dry and comfortable inside.

In general terms I can say I love it. Easy to transport, easy to set up and enough room for me and my wife and all our stuff (the heater, two or three backpacks) a little conventional camping stove and some other little things. But, every time we go out, I have to seal all the seems just to be sure that we will be dry inside. This is the only problem I see in this tent.
