Very happy with this bed.The height, 18", makes it perfect for those of us no longer able to get up off the floor so easily. Have used it for 2 guests, first just an overnight, next usage was for 3 nights. The mattress stayed firm, no leaking. Easy and quick to inflate. To deflate I let the majority of air to escape by opening the plug and then used the electric pump to extract the remainder of air. By getting all the air out I was then able to refold the mattress small enough to fit on my linen closet shelf...right next to my guest towels!
Only negative is the edges do remain mushy and not supportive as you sit on the edge of the bed.Not a big deal.

Product Description:
Whether you need a good camping mattress or an extra bed for guests, the queen-sized Coleman Grand Canyon double-high Quickbed is a great choice. The bed is custom designed for a terrific night's sleep, with a 35-coil ComfortSmart coil system, an extra-tall body that inflates to the height of a regular mattress, and a soft suede top for luxurious comfort. Comfort is further guaranteed by Coleman's AirTight system, which features a double-lock valve that locks in air twice, ensuring a leak-proof performance through the years. No more waking up on the cold, hard ground after a night of slow air release. And campers who are pressed for time will love the included Coleman 120-volt pump, which helps you inflate and deflate the mattress in no time.
The Grand Canyon is also extremely durable and easy to store. The mattress is made of Coleman's heavy-duty PVC formula, which is 15 percent more puncture-resistant than the competition. The Grand Canyon's Wrap 'n' Roll construction, meanwhile, makes packing up a breeze: just roll it into the attached carrier, tie it, and transport it. Designed to fit all standard queen-sized sheets, the Grand Canyon measures 78 by 18 by 60 inches (W x H x D).

The Wrap 'n' Roll construction lets you quickly pick up the bed and go.
About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.
In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

Intex Raised Downy Queen Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump Review

I originally bought this bed as a "quick fix" as I was moving into a new apartment. After the first few nights of using it, I was impressed enough to delay my plans to purchase a real bed.Unfortunately, I noticed that it had started to develop small leaks after using it continuously for three years.Patching it up worked at first, but six months later, another small leak developed and I knew it was time to replace it.

Having struck gold once, I bought a similar air bed at from a different company. It was okay but after one night on it, I decided that I need to patch up the old bed one last time until I order a replacement for it. The soft mattress top on my Rising Comfort really makes a difference, the other one was just an air bed.I'm ordering another ASAP, but I'm deciding on which model to purchase.

I don't expect that very many people would be looking to purchase this as their main bed.But I would recommend it for whatever purpose it is needed for.Speaking for myself, I experienced very little air loss for the first few years without ever taking it down. Before I had a leak, I recall only using the pump a few times to make it more firm. I'm wondering if those who had trouble received defective units or had problems with the cap when periodically deflating and sorting it.
