(More customer reviews)I have one of these for a while and have used it about 4-5 times. I've taken it on a kayak camping trip, and other tent camping trips. The small size makes it ideal if you have limited space for gear.
I have rated this 3 stars because it is very difficult to pack into the provided compression bag. My bag has holes torn in it, and last time I packed up the sleeping bag the draw-string at the top broke. I am now looking for a replacement compression pack.

I rate this sleeping bag 5 stars, but the compression pack gets 1 star.

(More customer reviews)Bought 2 V&O lanterns for my emergency kit, filled them with lantern oil to the specified level and found they leaked oil when moved around or tilted just a bit. The oil leaks from where the side arms join the tank. Apparently they are not sealed at all at this joining. I don't know about you, but I don't want my oil powered flame burning lantern to leak, at all!. Also the gasket in the fill neck was so small it fell out easily.

As I think this is such a dangerous design, I'm going to destroy the 2 I bought and find something of better quality.

This sled is great for towing behind my snowmobile when I go ice fishing the front of the sled curves upward unlike some other brands which prevents snow from entering into the sled. This sled is also very durable! Very good product.

(More customer reviews)This bag performed more or less how I thought it would.I've used this bag in temperatures ranging from 20 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit.I was definitely too warm in the 60 degree range, but a little cold at the 20 degree range.I survived the night of 20 degree weather, but wasn't very comfortable.For me, this bag functions optimally at 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit; but that's to be expected for any synthetic-fill sleeping bag.Usually I look at the temperature rating and tack on another 15-20 degrees.30 degree sleeping bags are usually comfortable around 45-50 degrees.This bag is fairly heavy, so I wouldn't use it for hiking.It is ideal for car camping and/or canoeing in my opinion.

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag a little over two years ago. I needed something cheap and didn't want to spend $400 bucks on a top of the line Big Agnes. The bag is awesome. Perfect for backpacking. Super light. It has worked great. Have no desire to buy a nice feathered downed even if I had the money to do so. The synthetic works great. One huge plus for me was the bag it comes in has six straps attached to it so you can tighten and compact the bag to about 10" x 12". Would definitely buy this one again.

Slumberjack Big Cot Review

(More customer reviews)When I first used this cot it seemed excellent. The frame is very sturdy and the cot was comfortable. If I had written a review at that point I would have given it 5 stars. But the second trip I took the cover burst like a balloon. Really, I could feel it give a little, and by the time I could get off it there was a 4 foot long rip. It was then I started looking closely at the material of the cover - it is some rubberized material with a few threads in it - not a real canvas. And it has zero rip-stop capability. I tried to sew it but it was like trying to sew a balloon - it just doesn't work. The Slumberjack people say they will give me a new cover, but they never seem to have one in stock to send (for 4 months?). Only get this cot if you plan on using it once! My previous cot lasted 8 years.

Update Oct. 2009: The Slumberjack folks were bought out by another company which may explain the difficulty getting a new cover during the crossover. With the new owners I was sent the promised cover [actually, they sent me 2 covers.] Used it one month long trip with no problem yet. We will see how it lasts next year.
