Streamlight 69120 TLR-2 C4 LED with Laser Sight Rail Mounted Weapon Flashlight, Black Review

The price tag is high, but when the item is an important add-on to your primary sidearm, it's an easy choice.

I bought mine USED for quite a bit less than listed, because it only came with the GLOCK key for it. Of course I was buying it for a GLOCK 21, so no problem there. I'll go over the pros and cons as I see them, as objectively as I can. Cons first, because I think the negatives always weigh my decisions more than the positives.

Cons--Price. $200+ for an add-on with electronics and moving parts, hence more chances for failure(none so far, but it's a possibility). If you don't have a bearing holster, your old one won't be functional with this on the rail. Not waterproof, like the TLR-1(and a little bulkier of course). Attachment bolt needs regular cleaning/oiling as it is not aluminum/carbon but steel. Battery door will feel like a puzzle until you pull a quarter out of your pocket. Collects dust on the lens guard/laser like an old library(suprise...guns release hot powder residue bursts at barrel exit and breech). Which is probably what happened to K. Jordan. You have to clean after every use, you don't want that stuff building up. If you want to adjust the laser, you'll need a nearly microscopic .050" hex key, but that should come with a new one. That's the most I can come up with.

Pros--Reliable. That's about all I should need to say to justify it's value, but I've yet to have a problem. Eight boxes of ammo so far (that's four-hundred rounds of .45ACP worth) with it attached. I stagger on and off so the slight weight/feel difference doesn't change my aim, so the ease of attaching/detaching is welcomed. Though quick, it's not just snap on, I wouldn't trust that--there's a bolt that secures it for a tight grip, and it's pretty heavy duty...maybe overly so. Takes me under ten seconds. Pretty decent run time, I'd say about 2 and a half hours nonstop with the LED only. Not a big fan of lasers in general on sidearms, as they can quickly become a crutch, but the extra confidence of one zeroed at 20 yards when you need it alleviates that concern. Once again, after zeroing it at your optimal distance(mine was, possibly from the previous owner, zeroed at 20 yards when I first was going to check for adjustments) the laser is amazingly accurate. I definitely alternate to not become dependent, but the tight patterns I was hitting were better than I expected. Overall pretty light, about a third of a pound for 80 lumens is a nice ratio. Feels very sturdy in construction, 45ACP kicks like a mule compared to 9mm, and no shock damage. Love the paddle/switch design for momentary and steady. Clockwise (down for righties) to lock steady, counter for momentary, neutral for off. Trigger finger naturally rests right on it when in safety position. The switch is below paddle for laser/light/light & laser from left to right. I use my steady hand on that, but it'd be easy enough to reach it with your main hand.

This is starting to get long winded, but I think for a primary sidearm, if you're willing to shell out the cash, it's well worth it. Look for them used first if you can. So far, couldn't be happier with mine.

Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2-Burner Stove Review

Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2-Burner Stove
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Coleman got it right this time. The carrying handle is substantial and stays cool. The handle also facilitates pressing the lighter button without bracing against hot metal. The curved, sealed design eliminates sharp edges, and makes cleaning easier. Spacious burners allowed us to use our 9" fry pan on a single burner, with the side wind shields up, and still have room around it (we could have used a slightly larger fry pan).

Water boiled reasonably quickly.

The piezoelectric igniter worked well.Just keep clicking it until you either see the flame (hard to do in bright light) or hear the flame.

This is our first experience with propane. PROs: Hot and clean. Unlike gasoline stoves, the propane will not dirty the bottom of your pots and pans. And you don't have the smell and mess of gasoline stoves. CONs: Invisible flame in bright light. I cannot tell if the flame is overshooting or undershooting the bottom of the pot or pan.The flame can actually be too hot.Boil water with a full flame (I think that the right burner is a little hotter than the left). But fry pancakes on the lowest flame possible, and keep an eye on it.A higher flame can be so hot that it can discolor the metal, or reduce oil to a baked-on gum.

This stove made our recent camping trip a real pleasure.

Coleman High Stand for use with Coleman 2 or 3 Burner Stoves or a Chest Cooler Review

Coleman High Stand for use with Coleman 2 or 3 Burner Stoves or a Chest Cooler
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this item with a Coleman camping stove, which has turned out to be excellent (the stove). Regardless of whether you extend this stand fully or peg the legs in place IT IS NOT SAFE. The liklihood that your stove will fall through this stand is extremely high. I spent a long time experimenting with it before being forced to return it and buy a table. On the package another suggested use is as a stand for suspending a rubbish bag. If that is all that it can be used for, it's not worth the cash. A redesign is needed.

Bazoongi Kids Circus Trampoline Tent Review

Bazoongi Kids Circus Trampoline Tent
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this for my 7-year old son, but my 15-month old daughter enjoys it more. They both are able to play; rain or shine without worry of being drenched or baked. My daughter can play on the trampoline & I don't have to freak out, that she may fall off before I can reach her.
My husband & I assembled & attached it in 15 min. The trampoline was a little more complicated.
The tent is a great idea & investment!

10' x 10' Commercial E-Z UP Instant shelter with 4 zippered sides Review

10' x 10' Commercial E-Z UP Instant shelter with 4 zippered sides
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Maybe call me daft, which is ok, however following the 3 step directions left alot to be desired. First off why don't they ship this thing pre-assembled? Instead they ship it where you have to rig it like a sailboat main sail. After this fiasco where the cloth was all dirty from laying on the ground it took about 10 mins to get it situated where it belonged. Once we did that it was even more difficult to raise it. I know that once its rigged up that it is very easy to pop up but the initial setup was a real bear.

Ok, now its put together and every time I take it down and put it up it is truly EzUp! To be honest it can be put up by 1 person. I have seen it done several times. Its safer to have 2 people though especially if you are opening it on grass. Reason being is when you pop it up if one of the corners snag it can bend the whole frame out of whack. Take your time and you should not have any problems or break anything. Spread it apart as far as you can with your arms then push up on the cross members labeled "Push Here". Then slowly raise the sides to lock them in at the top. Then, extend the legs one peg at a time. If you do this it will pop up easily and not break anything.

It comes with a ton of accessories like side skirts, a front shade screen and more. If your on grass take the 2 mins to put the supplied spikes in the feet to hold it in place, there will be less chance it will blow over. Sofar its been up for me about 3 times in bad weather, I would not want to be out in the rain without one. Also, in blistering heat it is cooler under it due to it being white.

If your having a banner made for the front for your business like I did the dimensions are 9' 10 1/2" wide x 14" high. Its not truly 10x10, close enough for government work.

Thanks for reading my review.

Coleman SunDome Three to Four-Person 9-Foot by 7-Foot Dome Tent (Blue/White) Review

Coleman SunDome Three to Four-Person 9-Foot by 7-Foot Dome Tent
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've owned this tent for about six years now. It's easy to set up, requiring only about ten minutes from roll out to the final stake, and stands up admirably to wind and rain. This is not a long term or extreme weather tent.It is designed for light use in mild weather.

I'd recommend sealing the seams around the bottom of the entryway, as a driving rain causes some minor leakage in that area, and I noticed a very small wear hole near the right front bottom clasp the last time I set it up.A quick seam-seal over the hole fixed the problem.

The first thing I noticed about the tent when I took it out of the box was that the tub of the tent is sturdy, but not heavy-duty. Extend the life of the floor by laying down a tarp underneath the tent before erecting it. I've done this since day one, and the tub still looks new, without a single rip or wear spot.

Overall a very good tent for the money if you're looking for a good, dependable weekender.

Product Description:
Roomy enough for mom, dad, and a couple of kids, the Coleman Sundome tent sleeps up to four people at a time in complete comfort. The Sundome is outfitted with Coleman's exclusive WeatherTec system, a series of technical features intended to protect you from inclement weather and nasty storms. WeatherTec tents are built with a coated polyester fabric combined with anti-wicking thread, webbing, and zippers, all designed to keep you dry when the rain comes down. The tent's welded waterproof floor and inverted floor seams, meanwhile, dramatically increase the water resistance by hiding the needle holes inside the tent and away from the elements. And in addition to offering fully taped rainfly seams, the included rainfly covers the doors and windows tightly and incorporates easy-to-use Velcro frame attachments. In fact, Coleman is so confident in its WeatherTec system that it exposes its WeatherTec tents to a rain room that simulates nasty downpours, and to a wind machine capable of blowing hurricane force gusts. The results? Even after the tests, Coleman guarantees its WeatherTec tents will keep you dry.
The Sundome's interior is moderately spacious, with a base that measures 9 feet by 7 feet and a center height of 59 inches. In addition, the tent is engineered to keep you cool thanks to the adjustable Variflo ventilation and vented Cool-Air port. Best of all for travel-weary campers, the Sundome sets up quickly, with two shock-corded steel poles, continuous pole sleeves, a pin-and-ring design, and InstaClip attachments. The tent even comes with easy-to-follow instructions sewn into the durable carrying bag. Other features include a single door, a privacy vent window, an interior gear pocket, an electrical access port, and separate bags for the poles and stakes.

About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.
In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

Eureka Tetragon 1210 Family 12- Foot by 10-Foot Eight-Person Tent Review

Eureka Tetragon 1210 Family 12- Foot by 10-Foot Eight-Person Tent
Average Reviews:

I had gone camping many years back and needed to upgrade my tent now that I had kids of age. This tent worked well for a family of five! We did a dry run of setting it up and it was fairly easy. I also took the opportunity to seal the seams. When we got to the campsite the dry run helped me to set up the tent in no time at all! Especially since it was starting to rain. The tent was dry throughout the night!

I also recommend a 16x10 tarp that can be placed underneath the tent. this will give you 4 feet of overlap that can extend from the tent entrance to place shoes etc. Great tent!

About Eureka
Though the exact year is unknown, Eureka's long history begins prior to 1895 in Binghamton, New York, where the company still resides today. Then known as the Eureka Tent & Awning Company, its first wares were canvas products--most notably, Conestoga wagon covers and horse blankets for nineteenth century American frontiersmen--as well as American flags, store awnings, and camping tents.
The company increased production of its custom canvas products locally throughout the 1930s and during the 1940 and even fabricated and erected the IBM "tent cities" just outside Binghamton. The seven acres of tents housed thousands of IBM salesmen during the company's annual stockholders meeting, which had since outgrown its previous locale. In the 1940s, with the advent of World War II and the increased demand for hospital ward tents, Eureka expanded operations and began shipping tents worldwide. Ultimately, upon the post-war return of the GIs and the resultant housing shortage, Eureka turned its attention to the home front during the 1950s by supplying awnings for the multitude of mobile homes that were purchased.
In 1960, Eureka's new and innovative Draw-Tite tent, with its practical, free standing external frame, was used in a Himalayan Expedition to Nepal by world renowned Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person documented to summit Mt. Everest only six years earlier. In 1963, Eureka made history during its own Mt. Everest ascent, with more than 60 of its tents sheltering participants from fierce 60+ mph winds and temperatures reaching below -20
