(More customer reviews)I was amused when the tent popped up so quickly. So far, I like this tent. Although, I struggled folding it back, I know that it will just take of getting used to. When I watched the video of how to fold it back, it was easier. I can't wait to use my tent at the beach!

(More customer reviews)I bought the silver-ish tent and used it July '09 for protection from the sun on the beach -- it worked great, but note that it's not as high an open entrance as the advertised photo seems to show...I'm 5'5" and I had to duck down low to get inside; also, low opening impedes some view but likely provides more sun protection.My low-to-the-ground lounge chair worked great inside, but there's really only enough room for max. 2 adults comfortably.One person, perfect.Watch out for windy days -- 4 provided ground stakes and attached yellow sand pockets on bottom of both sides really come in handy.The fact you can zip the front door closed is a plus if you want to change your clothes or for camping.All in all a great tent, easy to set up and take down -- you'll need to watch the video link which, for some reason, isn't included in the Amazon ad but, rather, is sent along with the product (VIDEO LINK SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE AMAZON AD).

(More customer reviews)Just purchased the self-expandable screen tent (which works GREAT!) but wanted something more like a regular tent - because the screen tent only has mesh covering on the top portion of every side.So, purchased the self-expanded screen tent waterproof cover, also from Genji Sports, via Amazon.

This cover works great - goes right over the top of the tent and attaches with really fast and easy input plastic stakes at the bottom on all sides.The cover has a little mesh window that you can pull up the material on if you want to see some outside - but if you don't just drop down the material that velcro attaches and you have complete coverage!Also has zippers that you can open obviously from the inside as well as the outside just as a tent would.

(More customer reviews)I bought this tent to spend summer weekends camping with my son who is five years old. I was happy with how easy it is to use. However we went camping one weekend, and it rained. Needless to say it did not stop us from getting wet. Then tent should only be used as a child toy, or for campers who do not really intend to sleep in it. I tried to return this tent. I want a tent with the ability to keep its inhabitants dry in rainy weather at night. Because no one can be 100% sure of the weather. Do not buy if you live in an area where it tends to rain on occasion. Total let down. Since I can not return the tent is is now my son's new expensive toy. I would not buy this again for anyone I know. Thank you.

(More customer reviews)I grew up with this type of "pop-up" tent and now that I have my own family I realized that I needed another one.This tent design has been around for 14 years now.In that time period I haven't found a more simple, easy to use, or more portable tent for lounging away from the sun between beach activities.I like being able to just throw the thing into the air, watch it expand mid-flight, and then have a setup tent in front of me (hopefully in the future everything we need will be built this way!).Fold down is very easy once you see/do it once and when folded you get a very compact circle that can fit pretty flat on the floor of a car trunk (or on top of all your stuff in that car trunk).Makes trips to the beach a lot more fun + no hassle to take it = great buy.

I immediately wanted to try it out to see if it really expanded as easy as the description says it does and it totally did!!My little kitty immediately then wanted to go inside and sleep the rest of the day in it..hehe!!

And then it fit right back into the very lightweight bag that came with it.I also purchased the tent cover (because the original tent has see-thru mesh on the top portion of all sides).The product comes with easy instructions on how to open the tent up and also how to fold it back up for placing back in the bag.

The tent and the separately-purchased tent cover both come with plastic stakes that you use to attach the tent loops into the ground (took us like 5 min. to do this function!).

Great for the beach, camping, or wherever!

It will definitely fit my husband and I - and has ample leg room lengthwise as well - for our camping trip next weekend!Diane :)

Wanting something that could also be used for trips to the park or camping, I recently purchased this outdoor tent because it can be zipped up both in the front and back. My husband and I used it recently on our vacation and it worked great! My kids loved it, and I had an excellent afternoon nap on the beach. The way the tent zips up completely is an added convenience. It works great as a changing station. It also helps keep the bugs out of our food when we have picnics at the park!
