(More customer reviews)Ok, idea is great but for lack of material or not for a 9' umbrella as stated.
Like another user, the net did NOT reach the deck surface properly. If I had a smaller umbrella ( an 8' or 7' ) it would have been fine.( BTW, noticed in ad picture they closed the umbrella a little bit to make the net perfect on the floor )
I spent about a 1/2 hour adjusting the net to fit proper to no avail. When I pulled on one side, it just lifted the other ( there was really no more give in the elastic top ring ).
So, if you have a 7' or 8' umbrella it will more than likely work ok, but not for a 9' as in the ad.
Quality of materials not the issue, just the lack of lenght!

Texsport Hilo Hut Privacy Shelter Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this Hilo Hut last fall, set it up in the garage for practice and the poles shredded overnight.I contacted Texsport to get some new poles from them and they never responded.

I also had a problem with the zipper, it was missing a tooth or two down low.I put on some duct tape to stop the zipper from going down all the way and getting jammed.

This thing deserves less than 1 star, unfortunately you cannot submit a review without a star rating.How about minus 1?

Bottom line, Amazon has a few other small privacy tents to choose from.You should try your luck with them.The price may look right on this one but be warned you'll get a low quality product, with no customer service from the manufacturer.

(More customer reviews)I bought mine just before a 3-week trip to Scotland this summer. A fair bit of that trip was spent camping.

Quality control over the tent's manufacture was lacking, otherwise I would have given it five stars.It had a lot of tattie loose threads on the seams and one part of the fly was slightly folded where it had been stitched, causing a small area prone to leak.Nothing in all of this that some seam-sealing and a little maintenance couldn't fix.

Beyond that, the tent was fantastic! It was really put through its paces in interesting weather... howling winds at Glen Shiel, Lots of rain at Glen Etive and Kinlochleven, and howling winds with driving rain on Skye.It stood up to all of that without any leaks, tears, or other problems, and I thought sure it would get shredded at Glen Shiel.The netting is fine enough to keep out Scotland's notorious midgies, so even they were not a problem.

Great tent, I would recommend it.
